What this tool does
Make a white image background transparent without deleting the subject
A white background is common in product photos, scanned graphics, logos, marketplace images, and document assets. Simply deleting every white pixel can damage white clothing, labels, highlights, teeth, paper details, or parts of a logo. This tool uses a subject mask instead of treating white as a universal color key.
After the first cutout, compare the original with the checkerboard preview. If a white or pale part of the subject disappears, choose Keep and click that area. If a shadow, corner, or section of paper remains, choose Remove and click inside the unwanted area.
The downloaded PNG keeps the source image width and height and uses an alpha channel for transparency. It does not replace the background with a white rectangle or a checkerboard pattern.
White subjects on white backgrounds are difficult because color alone does not reveal the boundary. Avoid blown highlights and add Keep points to important pale details.
This is not a global color key
The tool removes the area around a subject. It does not delete every white pixel, recolor the background, or reconstruct objects hidden behind the subject.
