What this tool does

Make a logo background transparent and keep the important details

A logo may contain small text, thin lines, enclosed spaces, disconnected shapes, and colors close to the background. Start with the Logo focus preset, then inspect every letter, counter, gap, and edge on the checkerboard preview.

Choose Keep and click a letter, line, or symbol that disappeared. Choose Remove and click a background area that remains inside or around the mark. Add one point at a time and compare the result with the original.

The result is a raster PNG with alpha transparency at the original dimensions. If you have an SVG, EPS, AI, or another vector source, export from that original file instead for the cleanest scalable logo.

Logo edge cases and responsible use

Raster edges have limits

Small text, antialiasing, shadows, glow, gradients, and low-resolution screenshots can produce rough boundaries. Background removal cannot recreate missing source detail.

No vector conversion or rights transfer

The tool does not design a logo, create vector paths, remove a watermark, or grant trademark permission. Only edit and publish marks you are authorized to use.

Where to use a transparent logo

01

Websites and product interfaces

Place a transparent logo over a header, footer, sign-in screen, product screenshot, or branded background without a solid source rectangle.

03

Social and campaign graphics

Layer the logo over photos, thumbnails, announcements, and campaign assets while following the owner's clear-space and brand rules.

How to remove a background from a logo

1

Upload the best raster logo available

Choose an authorized JPG, PNG, or WebP file up to 20 MB. A high-resolution source, flat background, and clear contrast help preserve small details.

2

Check letters, shapes, and inner spaces

Zoom in on small type, thin rules, holes inside letters, and separate symbols. Add Keep points to missing elements and Remove points to trapped background.

3

Download the transparent logo as PNG

Review the mark over light and dark colors, then save the full-size PNG for websites, slides, documents, or social layouts.

Questions and answers

Logo background remover FAQ

How do I make a logo background transparent?

Upload a raster logo, let the browser create a cutout, correct letters and inner spaces with Keep or Remove points, and download a transparent PNG.

Can I remove a white background from a logo?

Yes. Inspect white logo elements before downloading. Add a Keep point to any pale letter or shape that disappears instead of deleting white by color.

Can I upload an SVG logo?

The current tool accepts JPG, PNG, and WebP, not SVG. If you have the vector original, export a transparent PNG from the vector editor for the cleanest result.

Does the tool convert my logo to vector?

No. The output is a transparent raster PNG at the source dimensions. Background removal does not create vector paths.

Can I use the finished logo commercially?

The tool does not claim ownership of the output. You remain responsible for trademark, copyright, brand-guideline, and permission requirements.
